Greater transparency and safety is to come to the secondary ticketing industry following new proposals in an amendment to the Consumer Rights Bill.
The measure will protect fans from fraud whilst tackling professional ticket touts who buy tickets in bulk and resell them at inflated prices.
According to the article: "The amendment, to be enacted when the consumer rights bill becomes law within the next three months, also requires ticket reselling companies to report criminal activity and puts a duty on the culture secretary to review the entire secondary ticketing market in 12 months and report back to parliament."
